Hi! I’m
Rachel Rhyne! This is my second year teaching first graders, and I absolutely
love their enthusiasm about learning! Prior to coming to Ocee Elementary, I
taught at Hillcrest Elementary in Enterprise, Alabama where I was born and
raised. I attended Auburn University where I received my bachelor’s
degree in communication disorders. After graduation, I worked at A.L.L. (Auburn
Language and Learning) for Children as a speech pathologist assistant. After
working in speech, I decided to earn my master’s
degree at Samford University in early childhhood/elementary education.
I have the most amazing job in the world: teaching children! I believe that every student can learn, and it is my job to find out what works best for him. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to work with children each and every single day. Teaching truly is my passion, and as long as you make a difference in at least one child's life- then you have succeeded!
"To the world you may be
one person, but to one person you may be the world."
Outside of school, I also enjoy spending time with my family and friends, attending Auburn football games, walking my dog, Olive, drinking coffee, playing the drums, and visiting anywhere with water.J
I am thrilled to be your child’s teacher and look forward to a wonderful year at Ocee!!
Sincerely,
Rachel Rhyne
